A source said: "Britney couldn't wait to tuck into a curry from Brick Lane - so many people have recommended it as the best curry in Europe. So she was really excited about having a fun night out."

Jason is so smitten with Britney, 27, he is planning to whisk her away for a romantic break once her 'The Circus Starring Britney Spears' tour has left the U.K. later this month.

LOS ANGELES — Miss California USA's executive director says the pageant would never try to silence new titleholder Tami Farrell's stance against gay marriage.

Keith Lewis told The Associated Press on Friday that he wants all of the beauty contestants he deals with to be able to voice their opinions as long as they don't violate their contracts.

Former Miss California USA Carrie Prejean, who was given a second chance earlier, lost her title Wednesday after Lewis said she skipped pageant events while speaking out against gay marriage during unsanctioned appearances.

In a television interview Thursday, Farrell said she believed marriage should be between a man and a woman. But she added: "I don't think I have the right or anybody has the right to tell somebody who they can or can't love."

Prejean says she was dethroned because during the Miss USA pageant she said gays shouldn't be allowed to marry.

Carrie Prejean was finally fired by Donald Trump. Not because of her belief system, but because she has been failing to participate in her Miss California duties. So, Donald said, "you're fired!" and asked the new Miss California to step up. Who is she? Her name is Tami Farrell and she finished runner-up to Carrie Prejean in the Miss California pageant.
Tami was born in southern Oregon and was crowned Miss Teen USA in 2003 and during her reign she raised more than $21 million for her charities, which is more than any Teen USA winner has raised. Tami is an experienced model and has done work for Jovani, Tadashi, and Everything But Water.

She's also a Christian and recently finished recording her first demo CD, while on a Christian cruise to the Bahamas. Tami is also pursuing a career as an actress and writer. And now, as Miss California!

BLACKWOOD, N.J. — Daytime talk show host Kelly Ripa (RIP'-uh) is scheduled to be present Wednesday when New Jersey Gov. Jon Corzine (KOR'-zyn) swears in her father as Camden County clerk.

Democrat Joe Ripa is filling the job until the November election. Ripa says he'll run in the fall for a full five-year term. He's replacing James Beach, who's now a state senator.

Ripa is a former bus driver and union administrator who became a Camden County freeholder in 2004.

His famous daughter maintains a high-profile presence in southern New Jersey, where she appears in advertisements for Cooper University Hospital and has helped raise money for her father's campaigns.

Kelly Ripa is most famous for her syndicated morning show with Regis Philbin, "Live with Regis and Kelly."

Donald Trump, owner of the Miss USA pageant, announced today that he didn't object to semi-topless photos of first runner-up Carrie Prejean that recently surfaced online. Prejean charged that some of the photos are fake, and slammed Perez Hilton for what she called a "self-promoting and hateful" campaign against her.

Prejean was named the runner-up at the Miss USA pageant on April 19 after answering a question from Hilton, an advocate of same-sex marriage, about her stance on the issue. She said she didn't want to offend anyone, but believed every marriage should be limited to a man and a woman.

Trump said Prejean gave a "very, very honest answer when given a very tough question... It's the same answer that the president of the United States gave. It's the same answer that many people gave."

Trump said he reviewed the semi-topless photos that Prejean said she submitted to modeling agencies. "We've made a determination that the pictures taken were acceptable, they were fine, in many cases they were actually lovely pictures, and in some cases they were modeling pictures.

Miss California Carrie Prejean finally got fired by Donald Trump, according to Yahoo News. The Donald claims she was fired because “she hadn’t been holding up her end of the agreement she signed when she entered the pageant.” Trump said:
“Carrie is a beautiful young woman and I wish her well as she pursues her other interests.
Miss California’s pageant executive director, Keith Lewis said:
“This was a decision based solely on contract violations, including Ms. Prejean’s unwillingness to make appearances on behalf of the Miss California USA organization.”
Trump also said:

“I told Carrie she needed to get back to work and honor her contract with the Miss California USA Organization and I gave her the opportunity to do so. Unfortunately it just doesn’t look like it is going to happen.”

So this had nothing to do with Shanna Moakler quitting the organization or former Miss Nevada threatening to sue? Yeah right!
Shanna said:

“My faith has been restored in the Miss Universe Organization and with Donald Trump.”
However, Shanna didn’t say whether or not she’ll be back with the Miss USA organization. I hope not!

Megan Fox caused a stir when she filmed scenes with the navy.

The brunette beauty, who is considered one of Hollywood's most beautiful stars, thrilled seamen by boarding their ship while shooting "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen".

Megan's co-star Shia LaBeouf said: "We went on this battleship carrier. There are 20 of us and Megan. They are all stuck on that ship for months and months, so when Megan shows up it is like nirvana. They loved her.

"You have to be a brave chick to go jump on an aircraft carrier full of dudes who have been at sea for months."

Megan insists she felt at ease filming the scenes because the sailors were so well-behaved.

The 23-year-old actress said: "They were actually incredibly chivalrous and super polite. I think that is part of protocol for being in the navy."

Shia, who reprises his role as Sam Witwicky for "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen", has revealed the sequel is more dangerous and explosive than its predecessor.

He told Total Film magazine: "It is not a movie set - you are in the middle of a war zone! The stunts on this are at a whole other level. You go to New Mexico not because it is cute but because you can't blow s**t up at the size we wanted anywhere else in the country.

"We have a 1,000 lb gas bomb with actors in the middle of it. That goes on record as the biggest explosion ever filmed in the history of cinema with actors in it!"

The second episode of "I'm a Celebrity ... Get Me Out of Here!" fared well in the Tuesday ratings, which you may or may not interpret as a sign of the apocalypse.

The NBC show, which has Patti Blagojevich among its 11 contestants, drew 5.5 million viewers in the 7 p.m. hour. Though a repeat of "NCIS" got twice as many viewers, "I'm a Celebrity" was No. 1 in the key 18-to-49 demographic. Thanks to "I'm a Celebrity" and "Inside the White House," NBC easily won the night in that demographic.

Compared with its Monday debut, the Tuesday ratings for "I'm a Celebrity" dipped only slightly. Given that rumors are swirling that drama magnets Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt will be returning to the program, the apocalypse -- er, rather, the reality show -- should continue to do well in the ratings, and NBC is reportedly considering extending the show's run beyond the announced June 24 finale.
